The
primary focus of the benevolence effort at Airport Freeway
is to humbly serve the community in a manner that shows our
love while supporting those in need.
The church offers compassionate support to disadvantaged individuals
and families by using the many talents of our members to assist
our church family and those in our community for the glory
of God.
Often through the church’s benevolence efforts, Airport Freeway
members have the privilege of studying the Bible with the
people who are touched by the body’s outreach.
Airport Freeway is currently assisting two families displaced
by Hurricane Katrina. Members of the church have graciously
provided transportation and help with household repairs along
with counseling, moral, and spiritual support.
Food, kindness, time, and encouragement from many different
members at Airport Freeway is constantly being used to reach
out to the community as well as to support members within
the church.
