Christ's Ambassadors is a ministry effort begun by Don Calhoun
in 1987 that teaches church members, "not just to evangelize,
but how to evangelize".
The materials utilized in the Christ's Ambassadors
program were developed by the late Chuck Thyne, a domestic
missionary, sponsored by the Airport Freeway church of Christ.
Christ's Ambassadors, the ministry resulting
from Calhoun's efforts, is presently overseen by the Hillcrest
church of Christ in Gainesville, Texas. This comprehensive
evangelistic approach uses a non-confrontational method of
Bible study that stresses practical ways to integrate Christians
into a local congregation.
