As an intern at the church in Santiago, my main focus is on
the University group. I work with the University students
who attend our church, planning events and service projects,
helping in bible studies, and spending time building up the
members of the group.
Another big part of my work here is meeting
people who are not Christians and inviting them to church
or offer to study the bible with them. We try to meet new
people through English classes, special events, meeting friends
and family of current members, and visiting University campuses.
Overall, my goal is to build a fully functional
University group, completely run by Chileans. So, I guess
a big part of my job is showing Chileans how to lead and how
to serve, and what is means to be committed to serving the
Lord in everything I do.
